The Town of Norman's Cove Long Cove

Click to Enlarge       The municipality of Norman's Cove/Long Cove is situated at the geographic bottom of Trinity Bay on the isthmus that connects the avalon peninsula to the rest of Newfoundland . It is approximately 100 kms west (60 kms as the crow flies) of St. John's. It is also approximately 100 kms east of Clarenville. The town lies along route 201 off the Trans-Canada Highway(TCH) about 5 kilometers north of the intersection of the TCH and route 201.

Communities along the 'Osprey Trail' include; Chapel Arm, Norman's Cove - Long Cove, Thornlea, Bellevue and Chance Cove. It is adjacent to - or North East of - Long Harbour, Placentia Bay.
