Here is a aerial shot of Long Cove Harbour.
The reddish beach section is where the Annual NCLC Beach Festival takes place.
The canal is seen on the lower right just above the Dorset Fisheries building.
You can see Ocean View Trail on Pumbly Cove point in the middle left

• Long Cove Pond was once a fresh water pond but the canal has connected it with the rest of Trinity Bay making it an extremely well sheltered harbour.
